How billing works
Only successful transcript minutes are charged.
Playlist import uses the minute balance in your Threadmap account. Packs are one-time purchases and do not expire. A video with unavailable captions fails without consuming transcript minutes.

What to expect before importing
Does the playlist need to be public?
Yes. Threadmap must be able to read the playlist and each selected public video. Private and unavailable items cannot be imported.
Why can I select 10 videos?
The limit keeps estimates understandable and background jobs manageable. You can return to the same playlist and start another selection afterward.
Are captions checked before billing?
Caption availability is verified during processing because YouTube does not always report auto-generated captions reliably. Failed videos do not use successful transcript minutes.
Can I leave the progress page?
Yes. The job persists in the background. Recent playlist imports remain linked from your private transcript library when you return.
What can I search afterward?
The library search covers saved video titles, channel names, and words inside the transcript, making a processed playlist useful as a research collection.
Can I export the results?
Open any saved transcript to copy or download it. The public single-video extractor also supports TXT, Markdown, SRT, and JSON downloads.
